Dexmo takes your right to privacy seriously.
The regulations regarding privacy under UK law provide you with significant protection.
Dexmo complies with the principles of the Data Protection Act 1998 when dealing with all data received from registered users and visitors.
We only hold the data necessary to offer services provided on the Site.
Data is only used for the purposes described in our entry on the Data Protection Register.We only hold personal data for as long as necessary. Once data is no longer needed it is deleted from our files.
For administrative reasons some registered user and visitor data may be passed to and stored securely with third party service providers located outside the EEA (European Economic Area).We do not exchange, trade, rent or sell user or visitor data to third parties.
We do however provide data or information where required to do so by UK law or where ordered by a court in the UK.
Information Provided By You
As a visitor to the Site you do not need to provide any personal information to us or create a registered user account, you are still able to access the public pages of the Site.
As a registered user you are able to create a personal profile page and participate fully on the Site and with other registered users. The data requested at the time of registration is held on our servers.
Site & Administration Information
Our server logs record general traffic information automatically; such information is used to administer the Site and ensure that it is functioning correctly and without delay.
Dexmo may also place counters on all or some parts of the Site to display how many times a particular category or page has been displayed.
Visitors and registered users are able to browse and view the personal profile page of each registered user. However, personal profile pages do not include email addresses.
Dexmo may allow third parties access to data and content already publicly available on the Site in order to allow the development of APIs.
Communications
In accordance with the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003, Dexmo does not send bulk unsolicited emails, (spam).
Dexmo may send emails to existing registered users to notify them of updates, new features and special offers on the Site and for other administrative and support purposes.
All emails sent by Dexmo will be clearly marked as originating from us. Dexmo never sends emails to registered users requesting their account details.
Cookies
Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers transferred from your web browser to your hard drive and used by most websites to provide anonymous usage data.
Dexmo uses "cookies" to track use of the Site. Please note that these cookies do not contain or pass personal or confidential, information. Cookies are simply used to collate general usage data and assist in running the Site.
Cookies are not used to identify or track individual registered users or visitors.Please note that you are free to refuse cookies. However, for purely technical reasons this may prevent you from using parts of the Site and from setting up or accessing any personal account facilities.
